Sun City Country Club

Set amidst the bushland of Yanchep and framed by mature tree-lined fairways, Sun City Country Club first opened for play on 27 July 1974 following a construction phase of just 15 months. Designed by Bob Green in collaboration with founding club captain Murray Dawson, the course immediately established itself as a serious test and hosted the Western Australia PGA Championship for three successive years from 1975.

The layout demands strategic thinking: 12 of its 14 fairways dog-leg around natural bushland, and the greens are known for their long, sweeping breaks that keep even experienced golfers guessing until the putt is struck. With its mix of length-requiring holes, tree screening and deliberate design, Sun City rewards accuracy and club selection above all — making it a standout experience for golfers seeking both challenge and natural beauty.
