New Bali Golf Packages

Bali is a must-visit destination for every Australian golf traveller. Easily accessible from all major cities, Bali offers incredible golf and many other activities for non-golfing travellers to enjoy. I recently visited Bali to appoint a new golf tour partner; inspect some Nusa Dua hotel and resort properties and also review the newest golf course on the island, Bukit Pandawa Golf Club.

Golfasian have now established an office and team in Bali to take advantage of the growing golfing fraternity that is making Bali a “must play” golfing destination. Through Golfasian,

International Golf Specialists has access to special wholesaler rates at both the hotels and golf courses and now promote a variety of golf packages from 3 to 7 nights. We have carefully selected a range of hotels that will fit all budgets, from our lead-in 3-star hotel, Hotel Santika Siligita to the luxurious 5-star Bali Melia and the Bali National Golf Villas. All hotels are located in the up-market Nusa Dua district and are only a short drive to the main golf courses.

Bukit Pandawa Golf Club is unique in its concept … an 18-hole Par 3 golf course that ranges from short (100 metres) to long (225 metres) holes played through jungle, over lakes & ponds and all with amazing views over the southern peninsula and out to the Indian Ocean. The course is spectacular as is the opulent Clubhouse where a day of golf at Bukit Pandawa will be truly memorable. Bukit Pandawa has just been awarded the “Best Par 3 Golf Course in the World” by the World Golf Awards … some accolade for a course that has only been open for 12 months!

I also visited Bali National Golf Club, the leading golf course in Bali. I was hosted by the General Manager, Mark Holland, who took me on a tour of the course and showcased some of the signature holes and a couple of changes being planned to make Bali National an even more exciting course to play. Bali National Golf Club has been awarded the Best Golf Resort 2017 Indonesia by Golf Digest USA and has just opened the David Leadbetter Golf Academy Bali as part of its golfing offerings.

Queenstown golf awaits!

New Zealand is home to a stunning array of golf courses. From the most magnificent ocean-side layouts to those courses carved out of the mountainous backdrop of Queenstown, New Zealand is a must do destination for golf enthusiasts the world over. Marquee golf courses such as Kauri Cliffs and Jack’s Point have been designed to make the most of the natural terrain and to show off the amazing scenery. But accessibility is the aspect that really sets apart New Zealand from other countries with more than 400 golf courses to choose from.

One of the most popular golfing destinations in New Zealand is Queenstown in the South Island. Queenstown is an all-year-round tourist destination where Winter sports combine with other outdoor activities such as golf during the warmer months. I have a regular golf group that have asked me to put together a golf trip to Queenstown in December this year. Apart from preparing the golf package, I will also be hosting the group of couples and singles with my wife Sally and looking forward to returning to this memorable and spectacular part of the world.

We will be playing such exciting golf courses such as Jack’s Point, Millbrook and Queenstown Golf Club. Jack’s Point, situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and with a backdrop to the slopes of the spectacular mountain range, The Remarkables, the scenery is so visually stunning that golfers could be forgiven for losing focus on the game at hand. Millbrook has recently hosted the New Zealand Open to rave reviews and Queenstown Golf Club is a golfing perennial favourite due to its peninsula location with Lake Wakatipu on three sides of the layout.

International Golf Specialists can take you to Jacks Point and other great golf courses around the Queenstown and Otago region of New Zealand on one of its exclusive golf tours.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA … a
great golfing destination!

A recent Australian Golf Digest edition has rated Perth, Western Australia as one of the leading golfing destination in Australia. The quality of the public-access and private golf clubs combined with superb weather, al fresco dining and a vibrant bar scene make Perth a “must visit” city for a relaxed and enjoyable golfing holiday.

Lake Karrinyup Country Club, host to the Perth “Super Sixes” each February is the top-ranked WA course in the Australian Golf Digest “Top 100” rankings at #17. This is an amazing and challenging golf course, which has recently undergone a major design and renovation change by the Clayton / Ogilvy design team.

After Karrinyup comes Joondalup Country Club at #21; Links Kennedy Bay #28 and The Cut at #37. That’s 4 Perth courses rated in the top 40 in Australia. Other top notch public access golf courses are Meadow Springs (designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr); Mt Lawley Golf Club and Secret Harbour.

International Golf Specialists can arrange Perth golf packages and tours around events such as the “Super Sixes” where we can arrange golf in the morning and watching some of the best professional golfers in the world in the afternoon.

We have preferred accommodation and golf rates and tee times with all the leading Perth courses and can tailor a golf package to suit your golfing requirements and budget. Just contact us and we will show you that International Golf Specialists creates “great golfing experiences”!
